Cody Boyd

IT Support Lead at Spanx

Cody Boyd has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Cody started their career as a Day Camp Counselor at the YMCA in 2011, where they worked with children and taught them moral values. Cody then served as a Facilities Manager at the American Red Cross, assisting with organization and stocking. Cody also interned at Advance Rehabilitation, where they observed and assisted physical therapists.

In 2012, Cody took on the role of Store Manager at Subway, managing all aspects of store operations. Additionally, they volunteered as a Physical Therapy Volunteer at Floyd Medical Center, assisting with tasks and fall prevention education. Cody also worked as a Document Runner/Office Assistant at Brinson, Askew, Berry, Seigler, Richardson & Davis, LLP, where they transported important documents, performed various office tasks, and provided level 1 IT helpdesk support.

Cody then joined Georgia Foot & Ankle Specialists as a Medical Assistant/IT Administrator, providing patient care and full-time IT support to the business. Cody later became an IT Support Specialist at Royal Food Services, Inc., where they provided onsite support, assisted with diagnostics and network maintenance.

Currently, Cody works at Spanx, starting off as a Systems Support Associate and later promoted to IT Support Lead.

Cody Boyd obtained an Associate's degree in Computer Systems Networking Specialist and Computer Support Specialist from Georgia Northwestern Technical College from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2013, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Exercise Science from Berry College, with a focus on Kinesiology and Exercise Science.
