Senior Planning Manager at Spanx

Lauren Collins is currently a Resident Advisor at the University of Michigan, where responsibilities include fostering relationships among 78 freshmen and planning events to aid their campus transition while enforcing residence hall regulations. Previous experience includes a System Engineering Intern role at Bio-Rad Laboratories, assisting in the development of the QX Continuum Droplet Digital PCR System, and serving as an SROP Scholar at Penn State University, conducting research on water and ion transport in polyacrylic acid-based polymers under Dr. Hee Jeung Oh. Additionally, Lauren was a Buckeye REU Intern at The Ohio State University, focusing on the role of mechanical load in chronic low back pain research under Dr. Devina Purmessur. Lauren is pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at the University of Michigan, expected to graduate in May 2025, and holds a High School Diploma from University High School Academy.
