Wendy Hanson has a diverse and extensive work experience in the fashion industry. Wendy started their career in 1999 as a Design Associate at Chris Hudson Couture, where they assisted with various design studio operations and created custom patterns for clients.

Wendy then worked as an Assistant Patternmaker at Vivienne Westwood, where they assisted the Senior Patternmaker, managed the intern program, and attended Paris Fashion Week.

From 2006 to 2009, Wendy served as a Senior Patternmaker at Tibi New York, where they engineered and created patterns for various categories and managed fittings with the sample room team.

Wendy also worked as a Freelance Patternmaker at Urban Zen by Donna Karan in 2007 and 2008.

In 2009, Wendy joined Spanx and held several roles throughout their tenure. Wendy started as a Designer, responsible for designing and developing shapewear, hosiery, and leggings for multiple brands. Wendy was then promoted to a Senior Technical Design Manager, managing a team of technical designers and overseeing fit approvals and wear-testing programs. Later, they became the Director of Product and Raw Material Innovation, leading an R&D team to create innovative products in collaboration with the company's founder. Most recently, they held the position of Senior Design Director of Product and Raw Material Innovation.

Throughout their career, Wendy has demonstrated strong design and technical skills, as well as the ability to manage teams and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Wendy Hanson attended the University of Georgia - Franklin College of Arts and Sciences from 1995 to 1997, where they studied Fine and Studio Arts. In 2003, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design and Marketing at the American InterContinental University London, completing it in 2004.
