Don Sharp

Don Sharp, PhD, currently serves as the Director of Accounting at SPAR Group, where responsibilities include developing accounting policies and coordinating the year-end close process with auditors. Previously, Don held the Director of Accounting position at GT Independence, leading multiple departments and overseeing fiscal closes. Additional experience includes serving as Controller at Daimler Truck Financial Services USA LLC and Corporate Controller at Mercedes-Benz Financial Services USA LLC, along with work as a Senior Financial Analyst at both Mercedes-Benz and H&R Block Financial Advisors. Don holds a Ph.D. in Accounting from Northcentral University, an MBA from the University of Phoenix, and a BA in Economics from Wayne State University.
