Nelle Messeca

Nelle Messeca has extensive experience in clinical research, particularly in ophthalmology and hematology. Beginning as a Clinical Research Associate Trainee at LFB in 2009, Nelle progressed to roles including International Clinical Project Manager at GenSight Biologics from 2018 to 2023, managing multiple Phase I/IIa and Phase III studies in gene therapy for conditions such as Retinitis Pigmentosa and Leber Hereditary Optic Neuropathy. Currently serving as Associate Director of Clinical Projects at SparingVision, Nelle leads an international Phase I/IIa study on Rod-Cone Dystrophy. Previous assignments included international clinical project management for inVentiv Health Clinical, Novartis, and AbbVie, covering oncology and hematology studies. Nelle holds a Master 2 in Diagnosis in vitro and completed clinical research associate training, enhancing a solid educational foundation in biological sciences.
