Tim Mendelssohn

Tim Mendelssohn is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the commodities and energy sectors. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at Spark Commodities since February 2019, Tim previously held various roles at Koch Supply & Trading, including LNG Trader and Charterer, and LNG Freight and Operations Manager from September 2015 to February 2019. Before that, Tim worked at BP as a Global LNG Operations Analyst/Cargo Operator and contributed to procurement and supply chain management through a graduate scheme. Tim's entrepreneurial spirit is exemplified by co-directing Elephant Branded, a social enterprise focused on supporting education in Africa and Asia. Tim holds a degree in International Business Management and Spanish from the University of Bath and completed A levels in English Literature, French, and Spanish at Lord Wandsworth College.
