James Meeks

James Meeks is the Chief Operating Officer of MOVE Systems, an innovative clean energy company bringing smart solutions to New York City. He is also the co-founder of the international nonprofit 2Seeds Network which deploys college graduates to lead economic development projects with subsistence farmers in East Africa. James has experience in both operations and finance, both as former Senior Vice President for Operations and Business Development at Swissport Americas, a 10,000-person division of an aviation services company, as well as having served as an advisor at Aspiration Growth Capital, which is committed to bringing elite investments to everyday investors. James graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University with a degree in philosophy and economic development in Latin America. He served two tours in Iraq as an armor officer with the U.S. Army, receiving a Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He has worked in Europe, South America, the Middle East, and Africa.
