Michael Kohen has worked in a variety of roles in the technology and finance industries. In 2020, they founded and became the CEO of SparkAI, a company specializing in delivering high-integrity, real-time resolution to longtail AI exceptions in production. Prior to this, they were the VP of Product at Hero from 2019-2020, responsible for solving the hardest, most pervasive problems in healthcare. From 2016-2019, they were Lead Product Manager at Zoox (acquired by Amazon), pushing the boundaries of what can be enabled with autonomous mobility. From 2012-2016, they were Co-Founder and COO of Wonder, engaging the largest network of on-demand research experts in the world. From 2011-2012, they were Operations & Strategy Director at Divide (acquired by Google), creating a separate, fully-encrypted workspace on employee mobile devices. From 2009-2011, they were an Investment Banking Analyst in the Global Industrials Group at Goldman Sachs. Finally, from 2007-2009, they were Biofuels Project Research Lead at the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES), conducting technical review and analysis of leading biofuel technologies and related government policy.

Michael Kohen attended Harvard University from 2005 to 2009, where they studied Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering. Michael also holds a Certified Series 7 General Securities Representative certification from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
