Adi Lifshes has over 30 years of work experience in the software engineering field. Adi began their career in 1983 as a Senior Software Engineer at Digital Equipment Corporation, where they worked on VMS, DECNet networks, communication, clusters and distributed systems, pre sales and consulting. Adi also developed a VAX integrated Ethernet chip controller and was a member of the corporate DECNet architecture review board. In 1990, they became a Development Manager at RAD. In 1997, they were promoted to Engineering Director at Mainsoft, where they managed 6 support and professional services C++ engineers and 10 core developers of a Win32 API implementation on most Unix systems. In 2001, they co-founded ANI, where they served as CTO and VP R&D. Theirteam developed a network traffic shaping and security system for large enterprises. In 2013, they became a Contract Software Developer at Pan-Exp Engineering Pte Ltd in Singapore, where they designed and developed a Windows .NET based real time electrical generators control and monitor application. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at CodeValue as a Senior Software Developer, where they worked on the Rafael project and the Hexagon Metrology project. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at Kornit Digital as a Software Team Manager, where they led a team of 8 developers and 2 QA engineers. In 2021, they began working at SparkBeyond as a Technical Leader / Senior Back End Developer, where they are using Scala and Python to build products designed to tackle the cognitive bottleneck and bias inherent in human thinking.

Adi Lifshes began their educational journey in 1967 at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where they earned a Field Engineer degree in Electronics. Adi then continued their studies at Tel Aviv University, graduating with a BSc in Math/CS in 1981. In 2014, they took a course on Neural Networks for Machine Learning at Coursera, Toronto University. In 2016, they completed a course on Machine Learning at Coursera, Stanford University.
