Maya Allalouf

Maya Allalouf has worked in various roles since 2008. Maya served as a Squad Commander for the IDF from 2008 to 2011, a Productions Coordinator for 2B Vibes from 2011 to 2012, a Research Assistant for Tel Aviv University from 2012 to 2015, and a Lab Instructor for Tel Aviv University from 2015 to 2018. In 2018, they began working as a Data Scientist for SparkBeyond and a Data Science and Image Analysis Intern for Philips, where they were responsible for a X-ray image analysis project in the AI healthcare department. This included reading relevant academic articles and adapting the presented algorithms to the project's data set, image processing, data cleaning, research and classification using machine learning models. Maya was discharged with honors from the IDF.

Maya Allalouf completed their high school education at ‘Harel’ high school, Mevassesrst Zion, majoring in Biology, Art, Mathematics and English. Maya then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Biology, General at Tel Aviv University, graduating in 2014. In 2015, they returned to Tel Aviv University and completed their Master of Science in Theoretical and Mathematical Biology in 2018.
