Scott Farris

Scott Farris is the current CFO at Sparkfish. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Business Analyst at DCS Information Systems from February 2016 to April 2017. There, they established and unified a repeatable Scrum process to keep development activities on schedule. Scott also defined the technical requirements for monitoring quality assurance of case worker adherence to State policies for two data sources used in determining whether an individual is eligible for State benefits. Furthermore, they led and provided oversight for the development of the project using Scrum practices.

From May 2011 to February 2016, Scott served as a Senior Analyst at Dougherty Sprague Enterprises Inc. In this role, they were responsible for providing short-term, emergency technical writing services for turnover of the state contract to a new vendor. Scott coordinated the development, maintenance, and delivery of over 500 technical documents during the turnover process. Scott also maintained activity logs for audit purposes and provided daily status reports to client.

Before that, Scott served as a Business Analyst at Fiserv, Inc. from August 2008 to February 2011.

Scott Farris received a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Information Systems and Mathematics from Our Lady of the Lake University. Scott also attended John Jay High School.
