Shibendra Roy

Shibendra Roy has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Shibendra started their career in 1999 as a Software Engineer at Atrenta, Inc., where they were responsible for quality assurance and developing test cases. Shibendra then worked as a Member of Technical Staff, focusing on release administration and rule checker implementation.

In 2001, Shibendra joined Magma Design Automation, Inc. as a QA Design Engineer. Shibendra performed regression tests, diagnosed issues, and filed bug reports. Shibendra also worked as a Member of Technical Staff, where they integrated software for SCM and provided customer support for emergency patch builds.

From 2010 to 2011, they worked at WiViu Technologies, Inc. as the Manager of Software Operations. Shibendra provided infrastructure support for open source software development projects and automated video processing using Perl scripting.

In 2011, Shibendra joined Fronteo, Inc. as a Program Manager for a short duration.

Shibendra then worked at Blue Pearl Software as a Senior QA Engineer, where they completed and tested the automation phase for Quality of Results using shell scripts. Shibendra also mentored the QA team and explored options for automating regression tests.

At Alumnus Software, Inc., Shibendra held various roles from 2012 to 2015, including Consultant and Consulting Manager. Shibendra provided consulting services and managed projects.

In 2015, they joined Redpine Signals as a Consulting Manager, where they set up reference designs, tested IoT applications, and managed software builds.

Since 2016, Shibendra has been a Founding Member, CFO, and Head of Operations at Sparkflows Inc. Shibendra manages financial activities, participates in business development, and oversees operational activities. Shibendra also wrote the business plan and created a QA plan for the product. Additionally, they manage software builds and scripts for regression testing.

Throughout their career, Shibendra has demonstrated their expertise in software development, quality assurance, project management, and operations.

Shibendra Roy holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering from South Dakota Mines. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Industrial Management at Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra.
