John Cavey

John Cavey possesses extensive experience in data management and technical project leadership within various organizations. Currently serving as Chief Data Officer at Sparksoft Corporation since July 2019, John champions a culture of data-driven decision making through the formulation of a comprehensive data strategy. Previous roles include Senior Solutions Architect and Project Manager, overseeing the CMS - MIDAS program, and Senior Data Manager leading a diverse data team. John held various positions at Innosoft Corporation and ManTech International Corporation, including Senior Technical Project Manager and Program Director for CMS-EQRS. Prior experiences also include roles at CSC Careers, QSSI, Northrop Grumman Corporation, and Select Computing, spanning database engineering, architecture, and administration. John’s academic credentials were earned at the University of Maryland Baltimore County from 1985 to 1988.
