Ed Madlock

Ed Madlock is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in education and leadership roles. Currently serving as a Special Education Specialist at Waterloo Community School District since August 2022, Ed has also been the CEO of EMpower Athletics since January 2010. Additional roles include Site Coordinator for Communities In Schools of Mid-America, which Ed has held since January 2019, and student support coordinator at CIS of MidAmerica from October 2018 to January 2023. Ed's experience as a youth counselor at Independence/4 Oaks and as an official for IHSAA/IGHSAU since 2010 showcases a commitment to youth development and sports. Ed's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts and Sciences from the University of Northern Iowa and a Master of Arts in Education and Public Policy from Ashford University.
