Michael McLeod has extensive experience in the surgical field, currently serving as the Surgeon Champion for the American College of Surgeons' National Surgical Quality Improvement Program and the Michigan Surgical Quality Consortium since 2010. In addition to this role, McLeod holds the position of Associate Chair of Surgery at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine since May 2014 and has been a Professor of Surgery and Program Director for the MSU Integrated Residency Program in General Surgery since July 2009. McLeod earned an M.D. from the Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University and holds two Master of Business Administration degrees from Michigan State University's Eli Broad College of Business.
