Ryan Thomas

Ryan Thomas serves as the Pediatric Pulmonologist and Associate Professor at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, where Ryan is also the Chief of the Division on Pediatric Pulmonology, Allergy, and Clinical Immunology. In addition, Ryan holds the roles of CF Center and Pediatric Program Director and Director of the Comprehensive Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia Center. At Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Ryan is part of the core faculty for the pediatrics course, focusing on cystic fibrosis and respiratory diseases in neonates. Ryan has consulting responsibilities at Sparrow Health System, and previously completed a fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology at University Hospitals, where duties included managing the pulmonology service and advancing research in the field. Ryan's medical training includes a residency at Beaumont Health System, and a family medicine externship at Oakwood Healthcare. Educational credentials consist of a Doctor of Medicine from Wayne State University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Astrophysics from Michigan State University.
