Larissa Vertchenko is a photonic engineer with a strong foundation in experimental and theoretical physics. They specialized in the design and experimental characterization of metasurfaces for quantum optics applications during their bachelor’s and master’s studies at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. Larissa completed a PhD in Photonics Engineering at DTU - Technical University of Denmark, focusing on novel materials for optical applications. Currently, they serve as Vice President of Production at Sparrow Quantum Aps, after previously working as a photonic engineer at Sparrow Quantum. Larissa also gained experience as a fellow researcher at Harvard University and has taught courses in nanophotonics.
