Michael Bednar

Michael Bednar serves as the Regional Director of Distribution for the Central Region at SpartanNash since July 2020, overseeing company-wide talent programs and the management of multiple distribution centers. Prior to this role, Bednar held various positions at Walmart, including Sr. Director of Supply Chain, where responsibility encompassed operations for a $2 billion distribution center, and several senior director roles focused on compliance and strategic initiatives across the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Bednar's extensive experience includes managing compliance strategies for small formats and leading operations across various facilities. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Human Resources from Lindenwood University and a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Missouri State University.
