Abhijit Kale

Abhijit Kale has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and engineering. Abhijit is currently working as a Software Developer at Spatial Corp since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Graduate Teaching Associate in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at The Ohio State University from 2022 to 2022.

From 2019 to 2022, Abhijit worked as a Graduate Research Associate at the Automated Computational Mechanics Laboratory. Here, they conducted research and implemented an AI-enhanced finite element analysis technique. Abhijit also maintained and developed a C++ software framework for finite element analysis and meshing, implementing suitable algorithms and data structures.

In 2019, Abhijit also worked as a Graduate Teaching Associate in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at The Ohio State University. Here, they conducted laboratory/recitation sessions for a graduate-level Finite Element Analysis course, developed new course material, and provided guidance to students.

Abhijit gained experience in product design and manufacturing during their Internship at Isomorphic Design Labs LLP from 2017 to 2018. Abhijit conceptualized, designed, and modeled products using SolidWorks, and tested them for market-readiness. Additionally, they had an Internship at SAM Integrations Pvt. Ltd. in 2017.

Abhijit Kale completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Maharashtra Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. Following this, they pursued their Master's in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University from 2018 to 2022. At the same university, they also obtained a Minor in Computer Science from 2019 to 2022. Abhijit has further enhanced their skill set by obtaining various certifications in different areas. Abhijit obtained certifications such as "Developing Secure Software," "Programming Foundations: Secure Coding," "Programming Foundations: Web Security," and "Learning Docker" from LinkedIn. The certifications were obtained between February 2023 and June 2023.
