Eric Zenk

Spatial Development Director, CGM Development at Spatial Corp

Eric Zenk has a diverse work experience in various companies. Eric started their career at Vanderbilt University as an Assistant Professor from September 2004 to May 2006. Eric then joined the University of Denver as a Marsico Lecturer from September 2006 to May 2007, where they taught calculus and conducted mathematical research. Since June 2007, Eric has been associated with Spatial Corp, initially as a Senior Software Engineer responsible for maintaining 3D modeling kernels. Eric later became the Software Engineering Manager from July 2015 to April 2020, and then took on the role of Spatial Development Director for CGM Development from April 2020. Consequently, Eric's work experience includes teaching, mathematical research, and software development and management in the industry.

Eric Zenk obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in math and physics from Saint John's University from 1995 to 1999. Eric then pursued further education and obtained a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Florida from 1999 to 2004. Additionally, Eric has obtained multiple certifications related to security and vulnerabilities, including OWASP Top 10 certifications in areas such as Broken Access Control, Security Misconfiguration, XSS, Insecure Deserialization, Components with Known Vulnerabilities, Insufficient Logging and Monitoring. These certifications were obtained from LinkedIn in June 2022.
