Retief Gerber

Retief Gerber is currently serving as a Faculty of Science Advisory Board at Stellenbosch University since February 2024. Prior to this, Retief has held various leadership roles including CEO & Co-founder at Spatialedge since September 2015, Co-founder & Director at SonicTech.ai since February 2023, CEO at SCSGI from March 2014 to August 2016, and Product Architect at Stone Three Venture Technology from August 2012 to April 2014. Retief also served as a Director and CEO at NioCAD from October 2009 to January 2014 and as a Lecturer at University of Stellenbosch from January 2002 to October 2009. Retief's career began as a Lt at South African Air Force from 1997 to 2001 and Retief holds a BIng degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering from Stellenbosch University.
