Thorsten Schmidt-Dumont is a Data Scientist at Spatialedge (Pty) Ltd since November 2021. Prior to this, Thorsten worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Stellenbosch University from January 2018 to October 2021, focusing on machine learning applications in Industrial Engineering. Before that, Thorsten was an intern in Industrial Engineering at NamPower in December 2014. Thorsten holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering, a Master's degree (upgraded to PhD), and a Bachelor's degree from Stellenbosch University.
