Tristan McKechnie

Tristan Mckechnie is a data scientist and machine learning engineer with experience in developing machine learning systems for a large retail bank. Prior to their current role, Tristan worked as a machine learning engineer at Black Swan Data where Tristan focused on NLP applied to unstructured text data. As a delivery lead at Cape AI, Tristan managed and led data science and machine learning teams for clients. Tristan has also worked as a data scientist at 22seven and as a solar research plant operator at Stellenbosch University. Tristan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Data Science from Stellenbosch University.
