Chris Cohan

Chris Cohan has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2011 as an Event Technology Specialist for PSAV. In the same year, they began working as a Producer/DJ for Temple Music Group. From 2013-2014, they were a Producer/DJ for MalLabel Music and a Producer for Betamorph Recordings. In 2012, they began working as an SQA Engineer for Avid, where they tested evolving versions and hardware peripherals of Pro Tools, AAX audio plug-ins, Dolby Atmos integration, the S6 console, and other EuCon devices, as well as the interoperability of Pro Tools in broadcast and post-production workflows with Media Composer, Interplay, and Avid Nexis. In 2018, they began working as a Senior QA Engineer for Dolby Laboratories, and in 2022 they began working as a Senior QA Engineer for Spatial.

Chris Cohan attended SAE Expression College from 2007 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Sound Art. Chris also holds Dante Certification Level 2 from Audinate, which they obtained in March of 2018, as well as Dante Certification Level 1 from Audinate, which they obtained in February of 2018. Additionally, they are a Pro Tools 210P Operator from Avid Technology.
