SpayKind (formerly known as Humane Solution Spay-Neuter Program) is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization. We offer low-cost spay-neuter services through a voucher program and a spay-neuter clinic. We are governed by a volunteer board of directors and have a host of dedicated volunteers who believe spay-neuter is the key to reducing pet overpopulation and the number of healthy, adoptable pets that are euthanized at animal shelters.

SpayKind provides low-cost vouchers to pet owners with financial hardships. The vouchers can be used at several area veterinary hospitals in central North Carolina and southern Virginia. We issue approximately 1,000 vouchers a year, which reduces the number of unwanted pets by the thousands annually. In July 2024, we opened a spay-neuter clinic and are currently open on weekends.
