Maarten van Dorp

Maarten van Dorp has worked in various roles in the communications, construction management, and media industries over the past decade. In 2009, they worked as a Registration Controller at the Ministerie van VWS. From 2007 to 2009, they were a Junior Producer at Teleac/NOT, where they were responsible for setting up callsheets, administration, budget control, crew, permits, catering, and helping the director during filming shoots. From 2010 to 2011, they were a Business Development Consultant at Meltwater Group, where they worked with national and international clients in the government, biomedical industry, media agencies, SMEs, business organizations, and associations. From 2011 to 2012, they were an International Project Coordinator at CityFilm, where they worked with realestate developers, property owners, hotel chains, ministries, airlines, and tourism boards. From 2012 to 2015, they were an Account Manager Bouwplannen at Reed Business Information NL, where they were responsible for new business (B2B) field sales, consultative selling, and relationship management. From 2017 to 2018, they were an Account Executive Netherlands at APROPLAN, where they were responsible for the growth of APROPLAN in the Netherlands. Finally, from 2018 to present, they have been working at Speakap, where they have held the roles of Account Director EMEA, Sales Director Netherlands & Spain, Director of Sales Netherlands, and Account Executive Netherlands.

Maarten van Dorp completed their pre-university education at Adelbert from 1995 to 2001, earning a VWO - Atheneum degree. Maarten then attended Saxion University of Applied Sciences from 2002 to 2006, earning a BA in Applied Art & Technology. In 2013 and 2014, they attended Exellior for sales and behavior training. In 2017, they obtained a Sales Mastership - Level 1 certification from Winning By Design.
