Alex Buck

Alex Buck currently serves as the Director of Data Engineering and Technical Program Manager for AI/ML at Spear AI, beginning in July 2023. Concurrently, Alex is a Naval Aviator in the U.S. Navy Reserve since October 2023. Alex has extensive experience as a Naval Officer in the U.S. Navy from June 2011 to October 2023, specializing in helicopter operations, tactics development, and mission planning, while also serving as a Seahawk Weapons and Tactics Instructor. Previous roles include a Research Assistant at MIT and Midshipman at the United States Naval Academy, where Alex was involved in academic performance tracking and mentoring. Alex holds a Master of Science in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a certificate in Space Systems Fundamentals from the Naval Postgraduate School.
