Douglas Lima

Douglas Lima has a diverse work experience in the field of development and administration. Douglas started their career in 1995 as a Network Administrator at Colibri Transportes E Turismo, where they were responsible for UNIX network services administration and system configuration. Douglas worked there until 1999.

In 2001, Douglas joined Data Manager as a Delphi Developer and continued in this role until 2009. During this time, they built high-quality software components and developed new features for the Sales module layer.

From 2009 to 2011, Douglas worked at Nbs Informatica as a Delphi Developer, where they developed a client-server business management system for automotive sales. Douglas also handled message handling between different sub-layers of the software.

Starting in 2011, Douglas worked as an Oracle Developer at Velit Tecnologia da Informação. Here, they contributed to the development of an executive dashboard and a decision support system for automotive parts sales.

From 2014 to 2018, Douglas joined Javita International Ltd. as a PHP Developer. Douglas built a custom CMS and various internal systems using Laravel Framework. Douglas also installed Linux servers and virtualized environments using Amazon Web Services.

Douglas then moved to Elevation Church in 2018 as a Backend Developer. Here, they built and maintained APIs using PHP Laravel Framework for web applications and integrated them with other services such as Salesforce, Planning Center, Algolia, and Smugmug. Douglas also ensured cross-platform compatibility and performed QA on finished products.

Currently, Douglas works at SpecBooks as a Backend Developer starting from November 2020.

Douglas Lima attended Universidade de Cuiaba from 2009 to 2012, where they pursued a field of study in Information System.
