Special A is a premier academic services company founded in Beijing by Norman Huang in 2011. Over the past decade, we have become one of China’s most trusted educational brands, expanding to two subsidiaries in Asia and launching a North American branch in 2025.

Our expert team—including former admissions officers, deans, and professors from Ivy League and global institutions—provides personalized guidance through every stage of the college journey.

We offer a range of academic services and operate two specialized institutes:
✨ Special A Academy – Advanced research mentorships and a global liberal arts pre-college summer program in Beijing.
📚 Special A Teaching & Research Institute (STRI) – Research-driven insights on college admissions and higher education trends.
