Steve Wayne

Steve Wayne has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Steve began their career in the United States Army Reserve as a Heavy Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic from 1994 to 1998. Steve then served in the US Army as an Infantry Soldier from 1998 to 2001. Following this, they joined the Minnesota Army National Guard as an Infantry Soldier from 2001 to 2005, and later transitioned to the role of Infantry Officer until 2018. In 2014, they worked as an IT Audit Consultant at RSM US LLP for two years. In 2016, they became an Experienced Senior Associate at BDO USA, LLP, where they worked until 2018. From 2018 to 2020, they held the position of Supervisor at RSM US LLP before being promoted to Manager from 2020 to 2022. Currently, they are employed as a Senior Security Assessor III at Specialized Security Services, Inc.

Steve Wayne attended the Minnesota School of Business, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Steve obtained several certifications, including the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA in April 2020, the Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) from the PCI Security Standards Council in May 2018, and the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA in September 2016.
