Rit Vatsyayan

Rit Vatsyayan, Ph.D., CNIM, CPC, currently serves as a Clinical Neurophysiologist at SpecialtyCare since 2014. Prior to this role, Rit was a Senior Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler from April 2011 to March 2014, and a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of North Texas Health Science Center from April 2008 to April 2011, focusing on novel herbal compounds for cancer chemoprevention and enhancing cancer drug efficacy. Additional experience includes a position as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Texas Tech University, where Rit worked on the identification of sterols from fungi, and earlier Ph.D. studies at the Central Drug Research Institute from 2001 to 2006.
