David Booker

David Booker, MD, is the Chief Pathology Officer at SpeciCare, specializing in biospecimen management. Previously, they owned Laboratory Medicine, PC, and co-founded Healthtronics Laboratory Solutions. Dr. Booker has held leadership roles, including serving on the Board of Governors of the College of American Pathologists and chairing various committees. They are a Clinical Professor of Pathology at the Medical College of Georgia and hold an MD from the same institution, along with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Georgia Tech. Additionally, Dr. Booker is recognized for their contributions to pathology informatics and has a patent for a patient safety biopsy device.
