Heather Gibson

Heather Gibson has extensive work experience in various industries, including healthcare, jewelry design, education, research, consulting, and technical writing. Heather has held positions such as Associate Director of Quality Management Systems at Specific Diagnostics, where they advanced quality throughout the organization and provided regulatory support documentation. Heather also founded their own jewelry company, MiaZ Jewelry, and served as the Treasurer and Vice President of the Board of Directors at Mariposa Montessori, where they executed strategic business expansion and obtained licensing approvals. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Quality Systems Manager at Advance Research Associates, where they developed and managed a Quality Management System, and as a Consultant at Vindasius Consulting, where they ensured compliance with regulatory requirements. Heather began their career as a Senior Technical Writer at Technical Information Associates, where they created end-user manuals for software and hardware products.

Heather Gibson obtained a Bachelor's degree with dual majors in Environmental Studies and English Literature from the University of Colorado Boulder between 1993 and 1997. In 2008, they completed a Certificate Program in Regulatory and Compliance from SFSU with Gene Ed.
