Sara Lopez

Sara Lopez is a microbiologist with extensive experience in quality control and microbiology laboratory settings. At bioMérieux, Sara served as a Microbiologist, focusing on tasks including bioburden testing and endotoxin detection. Prior to that, as a QC Specialist III at List Biological Laboratories, Inc. and a Quality Control Microbiologist II at DURECT Corporation, responsibilities included environmental monitoring and SOP management. Significant contributions were made as a Scientist II at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, where Sara led key projects in microbiology. Early career experience includes establishing microbiology labs at Achaogen and conducting research at Versicor/Vicuron and Celtrix Pharmaceuticals, with a strong emphasis on bioprofiling and quality control within GMP frameworks.
