Chris Batchelor

Chris Batchelor is a Technology Transfer Fellow specializing in coatings development at SPECIFIC IKC within Swansea University since July 2021, contributing expertise in analytical techniques, coating and resin development, and weathering tests. In addition to this role, Chris serves as the Honorable Secretary for the South Wales Materials Association since April 2019. Prior experience includes a Research Engineer position at Swansea University, during an Engineering Doctorate focusing on innovative paint formulations, along with a lecturer role at NPTC Group and laboratory management at Labco Limited. Chris holds an Engineering Doctorate in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering from Swansea University and has a strong educational background in forensic science and secondary science education.
