Established in 1986, we have 25 years experience building and repairing instruments and tube amps. We build custom stringed instruments, tube amplifiers and audio horn speakers. We provide expert repair service for stringed instruments and tube amps offering rush service for local and touring musicians. 

Our clients include Jack White, Jeff Tweedy, Andrew Bird, Franz Ferdinand, Low, Rise Against, Death Cab for Cutie, My Morning Jacket, Tortoise, Russian Circles, The Hard Rock Hotels, The Chicago Conservation Center. 

We also the home of The Chicago School of Guitar Making where since opening in 2005 more than 1000 students have taken classes with us in guitar building, guitar repair and tube amplifier building.
