Christopher Smith

Christopher Smith has extensive experience in the optical field, currently serving as Director and Manager at Specsavers since 2012, where responsibilities include driving retail performance and ensuring high standards of clinical care. Prior to this role, Christopher worked at Specsavers from 2004 to 2011 as a Contact Lens Optician and Senior Dispensing Optician, specializing in various aspects of eye care, including pediatric services and managing complex cases. Earlier experience includes a position as an Auxiliary Nurse at the NHS Birmingham and Midland Eye Centre. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science in Optical Management from Anglia Ruskin University and a Diploma as a Fellow of Dispensing Opticians from the Association of British Dispensing Opticians, as well as A-Levels in multiple subjects from Archbishop Ilsley RC Technology College.
