Jonathan Carpenter is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in internal communications and change management. Currently serving as Senior Communications Manager and Change and Adoption Manager at Specsavers since February 2017, Jonathan focuses on aiding teams in adopting innovative communication and collaboration tools such as Teams, Yammer, SharePoint, and Viva Connections. Prior to this, Jonathan held several key roles at J Sainsbury Plc from December 2009 to July 2016, including Group Communications Manager for Strategic Programmes and Project Delivery Manager for the colleague portal project, where Jonathan led a team to enhance the online experience for employees. Jonathan’s career has been marked by a commitment to improving communication structures and engagement across organizations. Jonathan holds a BA (Hons) in Media, Film and Communication with Contemporary Cultural Studies from King Alfred's College.
