Mark Benson

Mark Benson is currently a Learning Technology and Operations Associate at Specsavers since September 2023. Previously, Mark held a role in Global Commercial Learning and Development at Gilead Sciences from May 2021 to May 2023, where responsibilities included the implementation of a Global Learning Management System across 30 countries and managing user experiences through content migration and collaboration with stakeholders. Mark's extensive background in learning and development includes significant tenure at Debenhams from 2001 to 2020, where Mark served as Learning and Development Manager, overseeing training strategies during a corporate restructure, and as a Learning & Development Adviser - Systems, facilitating training for over 25,000 employees. Notable achievements during this period included the successful implementation of multiple learning systems and significant cost savings through efficient financial system management. Mark holds a degree from Bournemouth University, obtained between 1994 and 1995.
