Mark Yates is the Head of Sustainability at Specsavers, leveraging over 20 years of experience in sourcing, product development, and sustainability. Previously, they served as the Head of Technical Product Development at Marks and Spencer, where they led initiatives on sustainable clothing, including the world’s first closed-loop cashmere garment. Mark founded YourVegBox during the Covid-19 pandemic, delivering restaurant-quality fresh produce while supporting local food banks. They hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
