Mat Cooper

Mat Cooper has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and positions. Mat started their career in 2003 as a Help Desk Support Analyst at Megabyte Ltd, providing telephone and remote support for various businesses. Mat then worked as a Support Analyst at VT Group International, providing technical support to users worldwide. Mat then joined Tyco Healthcare (UK) Ltd as an Infrastructure Analyst, where they supported local administrators and worked with NT/2000/2003 servers. Mat also worked as a Help Desk Analyst at Tyco Healthcare (UK) Ltd, providing worldwide support to users across the EMEA region. Mat then joined SmartFocus as an Infrastructure Analyst, supporting data centers across Europe. Mat later worked as an Infrastructure Specialist at Affinion, where they supported primary and secondary data centers in Europe. Mat also worked at Sopra Steria as a Linux System Administrator and eventually became a Senior Infrastructure Administrator. In their role at Babcock International Group, Mat served as a Senior Infrastructure Backup Analyst, responsible for monitoring and targeting backup solutions globally. Currently, they are working at Specsavers as the Operations DBA Lead.

Mat Cooper attended HSDC Havant & South Downs from 1998 to 2000. Following that, they studied at the University of Portsmouth from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained a Higher National Diploma in Computing.
