David McGuire

David McGuire is the CEO of SpecterOps. David has over a decade of experience in information security, including serving as Vice Chair of the Operational Security Testers (OST) Panel and Vice President of the Adaptive Threat Division at Veris Group. David has also given presentations at dozens of conferences on topics related to information security.

David McGuire's educational career includes a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business, a Certificate in Information Assurance & Cybersecurity from the University of Washington, a BS in Computer Information Technology from the University of Maryland Global Campus, and an AA in Computer Science from Hawaii Pacific University. Additionally, David McGuire holds certifications from the Project Management Institute (PMI) in Project Management Professional (PMP), the Council for Registered Ethical Security Testers (CREST) in CREST Certified Infrastructure Tester (CCIT), SANS in GIAC Web Application Penetration Tester (GWAPT), Offensive Security in Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), SANS in GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN), EC-Council in Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and ISC2 in Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
