Malcolm Eade

Malcolm Eade is an accomplished entrepreneur and leader in the field of chemical analysis and health technology. As the Co-Founder and CEO of Spectra Plasmonics since June 2017, Malcolm has spearheaded the development of portable spectroscopy and adaptable analytics software that democratizes access to high-quality chemical analysis. In addition to this role, Malcolm is a Co-Founder of Reaction (RXN) HUB, contributing as a Board Member focused on supporting Chemtech entrepreneurs in addressing sustainability challenges. Malcolm's experience also includes participation in the 2023/24 cohort of the Creative Destruction Lab at CDL-Vancouver, and leadership positions at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement's Queen's Chapter. Malcolm's foundational knowledge in business and innovation was enhanced through an entrepreneurial incubator program at the Dunin-Deshpande Queen's Innovation Centre. Malcolm holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Queen's University, with a focus on Life Sciences.
