Peter Strickler

Peter Strickler has extensive work experience in the medical device industry. Peter recently became the Director of Manufacturing at SpectraWAVE, Inc. starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at ConvaTec as a Lead Mechanical Engineer/Fellow from March 2021 to August 2022.

In these positions, they led project teams, conducted research, and designed diagnostic catheters.

Peter's career began at Medtronic in 1997, where they worked as a Senior R&D Engineer and Senior Extrusion Engineer. Peter played a key role in designing a steerable ventricular tether delivery catheter system and managing production activities for guide catheter shafts.

Prior to Medtronic, they worked as an Extrusion R&D Engineer at Zeus Industrial Products from 1995 to 1997, and as an Engineer at JACO from 1992 to 1993.

Peter Strickler has a solid education background in engineering and architecture. Peter earned their bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, completing their studies between 1987 and 1991. Building upon this foundation, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Plastics Engineering from the same university, studying from 1993 to 1995. In recent years, Peter obtained a certificate in Architecture and Systems Engineering: Models and Methods to Manage Complex Systems from MIT xPRO. Peter successfully completed this program in 2020 after enrolling in 2019.
