Ashwin Kamath

Ashwin Kamath has a diverse range of work experience. Ashwin is currently the Founder and CEO of Spectre Data, a position they have held since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Two Sigma as the Lead of Data Platforms & Products from 2018 to 2021. Ashwin has also been involved in investing and advising startups in the areas of data, AI/ML, and fintech since 2016, alongside Y-Combinator and leading VC firms. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Senior Data Engineer at Affirm, Inc. Additionally, Ashwin co-founded LVL6, Inc. in 2011 and served as the CTO until 2016. During their time at LVL6, they created top grossing mobile games and the company was eventually acquired by R2 Games in 2016.

Ashwin Kamath has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance from Columbia Business School. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
