Christopher Smith began their career in 1999 as a Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology. In 2000, they moved to Northrop Grumman as a Signal and Image Processing Engineer. In 2010, they joined Axios, Inc. as a Technical Director. In October 2015, Axios became a wholly owned subsidiary of LGS Innovations. In 2019, Smith became the CTO and Principal Engineer at Spectric Labs, where they work on software and hardware solutions to solve complex defense and national security challenges.
Christopher Smith attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1998 to 2000, where they earned a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering. Prior to that, they attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Physics.
