Jonathan Borremans

Jonathan Borremans is currently the CTO, Co-Founder, and Board Member of Spectricity. Prior to this, they worked at imec for fourteen years as a Program Manager and Sensor Design Team Lead. During their time at imec, Jonathan specialized in CMOS specialty imagers and collaborated with some of the world's leading electronics companies. Jonathan is an entrepreneurial manager with an expertise in circuit and systems design.

Jonathan Borremans received their PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Jonathan also holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same school. Prior to their studies at Vrije Universiteit Brussel, they attended Koninklijk Atheneum Koekelberg.

They are on a team with and Carl Smets - COO, Co-Founder & Board Member. Jonathan Borremans reports to Vincent Mouret, CEO. Some individuals on their team include Ward van der Tempel - VP, Engineering & Co-Founder, Ruben Lieten - Director, Technology.
