Pedro Oliveira

Pedro Oliveira has diverse work experience across multiple companies and roles. Pedro currently works at Spectro Cloud as a Senior Solutions Architect, a position they started in 2021. Prior to this, Pedro worked at Cisco from 2016 to 2021, where they held various positions such as Developer Advocate - Cloud Native and Full Stack Observability, Software Developer Specialist - DevOps and NetDevOps, Virtual Systems Engineer, and Associate Systems Engineer. Before joining Cisco, Pedro worked as a DevOps Intern at Revolut in 2016. Furthermore, they have experience as a Master's Research Student at Daimler AG, Electronic Engineer Intern at Nifty Drives Ltd, and held internships as an Electronic Engineer Intern and Project Manager Intern at Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains.

Pedro Oliveira completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechatronic Engineering with Industrial Experience at The University of Manchester from 2010 to 2014. Pedro then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Control Systems Engineering at Imperial College London from 2014 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Pedro obtained several certifications. In September 2012, they obtained a Certificate of Industrial Experience from The University of Manchester. Moreover, they earned the following certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA Routing and Switching) in January 2017, Cisco Certified Network Professional Routing and Switching (CCNP Routing and Switching) in June 2017, and Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) in July 2017. Pedro also received the following certifications from Cisco in February 2020: Cisco Certified DevNet Professional, Cisco Certified DevNet Specialist - Core (DEVCOR), Cisco Certified DevNet Specialist - Enterprise Automation and Programmability (ENAUI), and DevNet 500. Furthermore, they obtained the Certified Meraki Networking Associate (CMNA) certification from Cisco Meraki in April 2017. Pedro's most recent certifications include KCNA: Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate from The Linux Foundation in November 2021 and CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator from The Linux Foundation in June 2022.
