Dimitri Krut is a skilled Materials, Process & Physics (Electrical) Engineer with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Principal Technical Lead at Spectrolab, a Boeing subsidiary, since July 1988, Dimitri is responsible for the development, packaging, qualification, and testing of fiber-optic and free-space laser power conversion optoelectronic devices, as well as overseeing the design, sustainment, and failure investigations of electro-optical illumination systems. Prior to this role, Dimitri worked at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory from August 1985 to July 1988 as a Member Technical Staff, focusing on surface and semiconductor material characterization and providing support for complex analytical research tools. Dimitri holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from UC Irvine.
