Jon Cooper

Jon Cooper started their career in 1978 at Spectronics Corporation, where they served as the President. Spectronics Corporation is a leading manufacturer of fluorescent leak detection dyes and UV lights. Jon worked at the company for an unspecified period. In 2000, they joined Suffolk County Legislature, representing the town of Huntington. Jon held the position of Majority Leader until 2011. Jon Cooper was recognized for their significant impact on the community and was honored as one of the "50 Most Powerful Long Islanders" by Long Island Press. Jon was also selected as one of the "Ten Leaders Who Changed Long Island" by Long Island Business News.

Jon Cooper attended Duke University from 1973 to 1977, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
